On exiting the town, we finally had a view of the castle. Here comes Lori – a former Canadian who has lived many years in Australia.

I had to retrieve my rain jacket from the bottom of my pack for the first time, but we had just some sprinkles for about 15 minutes.
The excitement for the day was stepping on stones to get through a tunnel, and then getting across the stream.
Here is Gwen from New Zealand about to do the bum-slide and leap of faith. We had lost Lori, who managed to take another route, but we met up at the next town.
Nothing like ending the day with some scrambled egg and artichoke.
