Today I decided to try eating a big breakfast to fuel me better for a long day of walking. However MB had her usual small breakfast and had to stop to eat anyway, so I ate at all those stops too.

Springtime is nice for the baby animals we see. I’ve not bored you with all the cute ones but this Shetland pony (?) and shy baby were unusual.

Today we experimented with the “Complementario” routes that have been waymarked in Galicia.  There is no explanation or mapping so we had no idea if it would be longer or what. One such route just seemed to take us around the back of an abandoned factory instead of the front. Another took us through an area where some logging was taking place. That entertained us for a while and got our boots even dirtier than usual.

Since we spend so much time looking at houses in all states of (dis) repair, it was interesting to see this billboard showing before and after pictures.
