Today we pushed on through pouring rain, other types of rain, hail, winds, and sun, in order to meet 2 Internet forum friends in Santiago.
We followed the sidewalk shells into Santiago de Compostela…
Up to the cathedral…
Then we had 20 minutes to check into Hospedaria San Martin Pinario, peel off sodden clothes and boots, and find our friends for dinner. One of them was flying out in the morning so it was our only chance to meet.

Clare! Congratulations! I can’t believe you’re back again so soon, I’m very envious!
I’ve enjoyed reading your posts – I got it from Amy who got it from NY Jim.
When’s the next one planned?
Hi! I remember you! We still have 10 days in Spain and are deciding what to do. Next walk will likely be in spring 2017 – maybe get the Via de la Plata done then.

You are hilarious!
