Rest days always seem to involve many km walking around town. Today it also included many steps up into the cathedral tower and down into the foundations! The tour of the renovations of the Cathedral de Santa María was very interesting.

After breakfast and the cathedral tour, we returned to the hotel to fetch laundry and find a laundromat. Then on to try a restaurant A had identified online but they had no room for us. Across the street we found a good substitute.

Back to the hotel – I was feeling a bit lazy and purposeless – these rest days don’t feel “right”. At the same time, I was tired!

Now into the evening, we are preparing for tomorrow, having shopped for breakfast and tomorrow’s lunch. There was a flurry of noise outside the window from a wedding party walking down the street.
