Today was an excellent day. I took my time getting ready, with no pressure from companions (who were in different hostels). Then I made my way through narrow Cordoban streets, seeing some decorated Cruces de Mayo. This one apparently won second prize in some category…
After about 4 km of urban area, I was over a small Roman bridge…
And looking back at the city…
The walk was very pleasant and through interesting terrain. Here was a busy conveyer running rocks to a cement plant…
More nice walking except for a few spots of pesky rocks…
I was by myself all the way until meeting with my friends for a mid-day meal in Cerro Muriano. This town is apoarently famous for its old copper mine. We missed the Museo de Cobre so maybe my brother can tell us something about these ruins…
I’m enjoying your journey but my wife isn’t… seems you’re inspiring me to head out again :))
Buen Camino!
