Dashing off to Montreal tomorrow in my urban utilitarian (U2) garb

These were the last capris I owned. They were called "pedal pushers" in those days.

I am packing for a 4-day trip to Montreal. Don’t need any of my usual fashion items, since I’ll be there for a meeting of a bunch of engineers, and they will NOT expect any style from me. Except maybe the usual “urban utilitarian” as my friend Sue labelled it. (She is famous for Florida-retirement-villa capris.)  I’ll be in a hotel meeting room the whole time.

I haven’t been seen in capris since “pedal pushers” were in style. I just found this charming photo in my collection. You can tell I wasn’t really happy with them even then. Do you like the red socks?

On a happier fashion note, here is KB in a outfit that I actually like! Not that I would every wear it, though. I have no idea where she keeps all these things, and whether they are indexed.
