Ficus trees and the living bridges of India

Have you seen pictures of the living bridges in Meghalaya, India?

According to the information on this site, they are made from a species of India rubber tree (Ficus elastica)  and are constructed over several generations.

This photo is of a banyan fig (Ficus benghalensis), the national tree of India, in the Brisbane Botanic Garden. It could be up to 100 years old or so.
