Seeing Clarely 
Fall and winter. My favorite times of year. Follow Adam Gopnik’s Massey lectures this year on “Winter”.
One (of many) reasons I moved to Florida. Months of gray were not good for me, and the cold was so unbelievably painful. Of course, summers are insufferable here, though.
Call me crazy but I don’t mind the rain, you don’t have to shovel it.
That is what I do not miss about Vancouver one bit. I preferred shoveling snow and braving the bitter cold in Calgary because at least it was in the sun!
Fall is long and lovely in Nova Scotia — I am sure that we get as much rain as Vancouver but it comes in torrential bursts so that we have many sunny days. However winter is awful because it is cold and I have to shovel snow. I think Sicily has the perfect climate,
