Day 10. Monteagudo to Fuentes (24 km)

Three of us set off this morning, a change after my solitary 9 days. I am a bit slower walker than the others, but mostly we stayed roughly together.

We had to open gate and pass through this finca in spite of dire warnings about surveillane
Other bloggers have described loose but non-aggressive bulls on the path, but this was the closest we saw!
Hardy wildflower, and pretty wheat field. But I’m told the wheat is so stunted by drought that it can’t be harvested.

Accommodation in Fuentes at Hostal Palencares, with meal at Restaurant Cazadores.
