Brisbane’s public transit system includes ferries zipping to and fro up and down and across the river. During commuting hours, there are many more people on board, as the river loops through a population of over 2 million.
Yesterday we spent 2 hours on a ferry as it did its complete route. They go quite fast and we stood at the front with wind in our faces.
At $4.60 per person, it was good value for tourists.
Today we pick up a rental car and set out toward Sydney. Good thing there are no drive-through divorce courts on the exits from the city!
