Driving Navigating in the countryside is fine, but I’m glad to be rid of the car now that we have made our way into the city. Too bad we didn’t own a nice boat – the harbour is constantly busy.

Sydney is a dynamic city with so many things to do. We had 3 full days here – 1 rainy, 1 cloudy and one mostly sunny.

The Opera House looks way more dramatic in the sun although it is impressive any time.

On the sunny day we took a ferry to Manly and we walked around the park area, encountering the usual obstacles.

The jacaranda trees were in full purple-blue bloom everywhere from Brisbane to Sydney. It is native to South America but has done very well in Australia.
